THIS CONGREGATION:
JERUSALEM UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST
GET TO KNOW US (see service times below)
Although not stuck in the past, judging by our relaxed atmosphere and contemporary worship, Jerusalem United Church of Christ (JUCC) has its roots in the German Reformed Traditions. Previously a shared ministry with the Lutheran traditions, JUCC is a distinct community of Christians that find hope and joy in honoring God in our midst and joining in faith and action. We are one of over 5,000 UCC churches with nearly one million members across the U.S., who serve God and help to co-create a world where God is glorified and honored. The UCC is a church of extravagant welcome, and a church where "…they all may be one" (John 17:21).

OUR
MISSION
We exist to declare and demonstrate the liberating power of the Gospel
It is our mission to help people experience God rather than just religion. We hope people may grow strong in faith and take their experience to the world. We believe in a church outside of the four walls of a building. It is our mission that our members will be One with God and know God, as Christ prayed for his disciples in John 17. "That they all may be one."
OUR
VISION
Be a part of the Vision
Our vision is to become the loving community of Christ that Jesus spoke about when he gave the "new" commandment that we love one another.
Growing Disciples, providing needed ministries, creating a community in our area that supports and cares for one another
OUR
GOALS
To impact our community and show the love that Jesus shows us to every person that we encounter. We wish to show the love, compassion, and grace that Jesus showed everyone he encountered. We hope that you will join in accomplishing these goals and be blessed by it in the process! God's grace is available to all!
There are many interpretations of the Bible. We believe in Father God as our Loving Creator, Jesus Christ as our Redeemer, and the Holy Spirit as our Comforter/Guide. The UCC denomination serves as a vessel of God's work in the world and helps bring forth the promises of God: unconditional love, forgiveness, grace, courage, faith, hope, justice and peace.
We will support you in times of trial and offer our friendship to share joy and hope of a blessed eternal life through Jesus Christ.
We honor God by coming together on Sundays and at other times, to worship, praise and thank God for the blessings of life and grace. Our loving interactions are the hallmark of God's plan for our world.
Wherever you are on life's journey...you are welcome here!
Come and see us soon! We are looking forward to meeting you!
"That they all may be one."
